August Newsletter, 2024 TSP Ministry in Balkhu

The heavy rains this season brought numerous challenges , including flooding and inadequates shelter conditions. The condition of Balkhu (slum area where we do our weekly children and women fellowship) was too bad this month after the heavy rainfalls. Some houses, foodstuffs, clothing, basic needs was submerged in water.

At TSP , Our mission is to provide essential support to those in need . This report highlights the progress and positive changes in the lives of people.

We are excited to share the remarkable impact made during this rainy season. We were able to make a significant difference in the lives of some women and children living in Balkhu area.

Stories of Impact

One such story is that of Saili Tamang, 70 year a widow who faced tremendous challenges after losing her son and spouse. She faced severe flooding that distroyed her home. She lives alone. We provided essential supplies including blanket, pillow, bed.

Maya and Rebecca are 12 years little girls from a low income family, faced numerous challenges. Their family struggled to provide basic necessities. Through our monthly meal support, they received some groceries, snacks. We are helping to foster their growth, development and happiness.

We are deeply grateful for the continued support of our Donors and Volunteers, which makes these positive outcomes possible. Your contributions are directly changing lives and helping individuals like Saile Tamang, Maya and Rebecca achieve a better quality of life.

Looking Ahead

Our work does not stop here. We are committed to continue our efforts to support and uplift the community, addressing both immediate needs and long term challenges.

We are also process of planning to open an orphanage aimed at providing a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for children in need. The primary goal of this orphanage will be offer not only basic necessities such as food, shelter and clothing, but also to ensure that each child receives the emotional support and educational opportunities they deserve to thrive. We are deeply passionate about and to seek your support and guidance in its development. We look forward to the possibility of working together to create a positive impact on the lives of these children.
